Deeksha Sivakumar Brihdish is the founder and creator of Parikatha - a place where stories come to life. A Ph.D. in religious traditions, she has devoted her life to performing oral stories from a distant time and enlivening them through a fiber world of wool-felted dolls for her puppet shows.

When not engaged in puppetry, she serves as a storyteller, advisor, and oral historian, translating the untold stories & life experiences of peoples in the South Asian subcontinent.
